Getting to Leadville Flying In DIA is served by all major airlines and will have the most flight options and typically the lowest fares. The 120 mile drive southwest to Leadville goes through large mountain passes and can take 3 or more hours. EGE is served by several major airlines including United, Delta, and US Airways. Flights can be more expensive, but EGE is a short 60 miles down the mountain to the northwest of Leadville. In either case, we can arrange shuttle service for you in our roomy cycling-capable vehicles. Our driver will meet you at baggage claim and make sure you get on your way with no issues. We can also alleviate one of the biggest hassles of race travel, packing and unpacking your bike. Ship your bike to us in advance and we can have it waiting for you at Base Camp. For a small fee, our pro wrench will even build it up for you to your specs so you don’t waste any energy dealing with it. Driving In From the West: Find your way to I-70 and head east. Head up the hill on US-24 heading toward Minturn/Leadville. Drive approximately 32 miles and arrive in the center of town. From the East: Use I-70 heading west. Take exit #195 and merge onto CO-91 South heading toward Leadville/Copper Mountain. Travel approximately 23 miles before CO-91 merges into US-24.
